Thursday 2/18/16- Today, the class had a full day to start working on props for our TV show. They started building a fake bomb out of a basketball, and painting a banner with “TV In 403” on it. Also, all of the actors met and ran through the script to make sure everything sounded right. Another thing we started was a documentary to capture the making of the show, full of interviews and clips.

Friday 2/19/16- Throughout the class period, we continued to work on the set. The hosts of TV In 403, Dom and G, met again to go over the script. Dom’s character is this really pessimistic, sarcastic guy that is very funny. G is this peppy guy who is full of energy, so he’s always yelling at Dom, and Dom is always getting annoyed with G.The production groups were busy making props such as a tv show banner, our bomb, an oversized light switch, and gathering various other props.

Monday 2/22/16- The class has started to rehearse section 1 of the script with the props we have so far. Giovanni is in his robe and we are trying to film the first commercial, but it is hard to get everyone quiet to film. Danny announces the full dress rehearsal will begin tomorrow. Once the show begins, G starts contemplating on whether or not he should do his country accent. It’s very funny to watch them working out the kinks. The lead screenwriter, Nicole, looks like she’s about to murder someone. So does Danny, the lead production manager who is yelling at everyone to be quiet. As Lauren Fox is guest starring, she starts embracing her inner science geek. Note this is not very easy for Lauren. Things are heating up on set as the clock is ticking down to the end of the period. The cast is trying to finish at least the first section. The rehearsal ends with Lauren singing “Party in The USA” and the executive producer Jordan Kahny telling Giovanni to be more serious when producing.
